How to Read USA Time Zones

The United States uses multiple time zones because it covers a wide geographic area. Eastern Time is used by cities such as New York and Miami, Central Time covers cities such as Chicago and Dallas, Mountain Time covers places such as Denver, and Pacific Time covers West Coast cities such as Los Angeles and Seattle.

Alaska and Hawaii have separate time zones. Hawaii does not use daylight saving time, while many mainland locations change clocks during the year. If you are planning with India, use the or the Time Zone Converter for date-specific conversion.
